Muscadelle
Muscadelle is the complementary variety in dry and sweet whites. It is characteristically very fragile, producing very aromatic wines that are low in acid, round, and powerful. Its secret is its discreet but appealing presence in the form of floral and perfumed notes. It is known as Muscadelle, but is also called Issal of Tarayre, Marmésie, Bouillenc, Musquette, Raisinote, Cadillac, or Muscat Fou in the Dordogne.
